Islam, Christianity, and Judaism are connected because they all believe in one God and trace their faith back to Abraham . They differ mainly in what they believe about Jesus and later prophets, including Muhammad. Why it matters? (Why do you think it matters?) In a world where how we are different is often what is highlighted first, this reminds us that many faithful people connect to the same stories, struggles, and faith connections. Studies show that young people are often stronger in their faith when they are in conversation with other faiths. Now What? How many religions can you name? Old Testament/Hebrew Scriptures; These are written in Hebrew. (There are a few parts in Aramaic.) Hebrew is a language you read right to left. New Testament/Christian Scriptures; These were written in Greek. Why it matters? (Why do you think it matters?) When people say, "The Bible says..." it is important to remember it wasn't written in English. There are lots of translations and paraphrases of The Bible. Now What?
